Opening of the Berlin Center for Digital Transformation

Come and visit the opening of the Berlin Center for Digital Transformation on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. at the Fraunhofer Forum. The four transfer centers, constituting the Berlin Center for Digital Transformation, with the focus on Internet of Things, Cyber Physical Systems, Industry 4.0 and 5G will present themselves to the public. The main focus is on technologies and solutions that take ongoing digitalization and inter-connectivity of all spheres of life in to account.

We are looking forward to the welcoming address of the governing mayor Michael Müller and the president of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Prof. Reimund Neugebauer. The Berlin Center for Digital Transformation will be introduced by its spokesperson Prof. Manfred Hauswirth. Afterwards a panel discussion with the directors of Fraunhofer-Institutes FOKUS, HHI, IPK and IZM will be held.

The Berlin Center for Digital Transformation is a cooperation of the four Berlin Fraunhofer-Institutes FOKUS, HHI, IPK and IZM. The center is funded by the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Senate Chancellery – Department for Research and Technology as well as from Regional Development Funds (EFRE).
